【募集背景】
当館は大藍商であった奥村家の旧屋敷13棟の建物と奥村家文書が、11代当主奥村武夫氏から藍住町に寄付されたのを機に、資料館を新設し平成元年に開館しました。
藍の栽培・葉藍の加工に使用されていた道具、江戸時代から残る大藍商の屋敷、藍の栽培から葉藍の加工や藍染を行うまでの工程を再現した紙人形など藍の歴史を知ることができます。
この度、所属学芸員の休業に伴い、学芸員を1名増員することになりました。

・館内案内
・収蔵品管理
・館内での教育普及イベント
・館外での発表、学校等への教育普及
・その他運営等に関する業務（事務、レジ等接客対応、藍染体験指導、藍管理、SNSでの情報発信、その他館運営に必要な業務）

臨時職員
（有期雇用）

【勤務時間】
8：30〜17：15（うち休憩1時間）

【休日・休暇】
年間休日125日（シフト制）、年次有給休暇、慶弔休暇

【応募資格】
・学校教育法による大学または大学院を卒業又は卒業見込みで、博物館法による学芸員資格を有する方（藍や藍染など染織に関連する専攻や、日本近世史または歴史学専攻が望ましい）
・当館の指定管理者業務水準書及び事業計画書に沿った企画、展覧会の企画、運営ができる方
・外国語対応（接客レベルの英語、中国語）ができる方を優遇します。
・多様な背景を持つお客様や職員がいるので、どなたにも明朗快活にコミュニケーションが取れる方
・業務上支障のないレベルのパソコンスキルをお持ちの方（Excel、Wordなど）

【給与】
基本給191，700円
その他通勤手当、住居手当など

[Recruitment Background]
This museum was established in 1989, following the donation of 13 former buildings and family documents from the Okumura family, a major indigo merchant, to Aizumi Town by the 11th head of the family, Takeo Okumura.

The museum offers a glimpse into the history of indigo, including tools used in indigo cultivation and leaf indigo processing, the residence of a major indigo merchant that remains from the Edo period, and paper dolls that recreate the process from indigo cultivation to leaf indigo processing and indigo dyeing.

Due to the temporary leave of absence of our current curator, we have decided to add one additional curator.

- Exhibition planning (in accordance with the business plan)

- Other operational duties (administrative work, cashiering, customer service, indigo dyeing workshops, indigo management, social media updates, and other duties necessary for museum operations)

[Qualifications]
- Graduate or expected graduate of a university or graduate school under the School Education Act and hold a curatorial license under the Museum Act (majoring in indigo dyeing or other dyeing-related fields, or in early modern Japanese history or history, is preferred).
- Ability to plan and manage exhibitions in accordance with the museum's designated managerial standards and business plan.
- Foreign language proficiency (customer service-level English or Chinese) is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and cheerfully with customers and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Computer skills sufficient for work (Excel, Word, etc.)

[Salary]
Base salary: \191,700
