Q.藍染体験をしたいのですが、予約は必要ですか？
I'd like to indigo dyeing. Do I need to make a reservation?
A.10名様以上の団体で来られる場合、生地を持ち込みしたい場合は予約が必要です。
Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more and those bringing their own fabric.
Q.持ち込みでの藍染体験はできますか？
Can I bring my own items to be indigo-dyed?
A.はい、可能です。
前日までにお電話にて予約が必要です。
お名前・人数・染めたいものをお知らせください。
その際にいくつか注意事項をお伝えします。

Since reservations must be made by phone at least one day in advance,
please let us know your name, the number of people, and what you’d like to items to dye
We’ll go over a few important points at that time.
Q.藍染体験はどのくらい時間がかかりますか？
How long does the indigo dyeing workshop take?
A.約30分ほどで出来上がります。
It takes about 30minutes.
【団体の場合】 For groups
1回の体験につき約20名様までとなっております。
We can accommodate up to approximately 20 people per session.
例)団体40名様の場合
2グループに分かれて館内見学と藍染体験を交互にして頂きます。
Larger groups will be divided into smaller groups and will alternate between a tour of the facility and an indigo dyeing workshop.
Q.生地はどんなものがありますか？ What kinds of fabrics are available?
A.ハンカチ・ハンドタオル・手ぬぐい・ストールなどがございます。

Q.見学のみでも可能ですか？ Is it possible to just come for a tour?
A.はい、可能です。 Yes,that's possible.

Are gloves and aprons provided for the indigo dyeing workshop?
A.はい、ございます。
エプロンはノーマルタイプと割烹着をご用意しています。
お子様用もございます。
もし心配でしたら、なるべく汚れても良い服装でお越しください。
Yes,we have them.
We offer both standard aprons and traditional Japanese aprons.
We also have children's sizes.
If you're concerned, please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
Q.駐車場はありますか？ Is there parking available?
A.はい、第一駐車場と第二駐車場がございます。
大型バスは第二駐車場にバス専用スペースがございます。

Q.藍の館に売店はありますか？食事をする所はありますか？
Is there a Places to eat?
A.いいえ、当館にはどちらもありません。

お買い物は、藍の館の向かいにある藍屋敷おくむらさんにて
お楽しみください。
You can purchase indigo-dyed items at Aiyashiki Okumura,located across from Ai no Yakata.
